By the order of Abraha, King of Habasha, one of his army commanders launches an attack on Mecca in order to destroy the Kaaba. He leads a well-equipped force composed of thousands of soldiers, horses and elephants. As the army approaches Mecca, the elephants respond to divine order by halting and refusing to continue. Millions of small birds then release a hail of stones onto Abraha’s forces and the army is annihilated. A month later, the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is born.
This unique film sets the context of the society and people who were present when the Prophet Muhammed ﷺ was born. We learn much about the people he was around in his early years including his Grandfather, Abdul Muttalib. This film is intended to be the first of a three part series and takes us from before his birth to the age of 13.
We look forward to presenting the 2nd and 3rd episodes soon!
