The growth of video streaming services such as Netflix have created the opportunity for a global Muslim audience to find video content that reflects its spiritual values. The TRT drama series Ertuğrul has captured the imagination of a vast global audience and is loved by Muslims who say that the series reflects the pride they take in their Muslim history and identity.
But where do we go from here?
Alchemiya has convened some of the most recognised film makers, writers and producers from within the Muslim community. These creatives discuss their vision for a new age of ‘spiritually’ inspired film making, and the launch of Alchemiya’s plan to produce original content.
